now, I liked it better with just the eyes colored... but my art teacher wants more use of colored pencils... so here's the end result....

For those of you who haven't seen the first one... the assignment was as follows:

Your friend has just climbed a tree to rescue a cat. You look up just as he yells "catch!" and drops the cat straight toward you. Draw what you would see. . .
My art teacher got this idea from her childhood...
She was seven... her brother was three...
They were at granny's house...
well Granny has a cat...
and the cat got stuck in the tree...
so little miss seven year old art teacher climbed the tree...
and suddenly threw the cat to his brother not knowing what would happen next...
Well poor innocent little brother looked up... and the falling cat left him with scars down his face, neck, body... and legs... OUCH!

He's in his 40's now and he still can't forget that cat's face...

anyways... the student's in his older sister's class have to use their imagination to draw Mr. Kitty... so I have...

Mom looks through a bunch of my art stuff... and she hates this one the most... (she hates cats)
Me on the other hand... I love most animals... including kitty...
how ever I'd hate em if I were Mrs. Ashworth/art teacher's poor little sibling...

PS: Basiailurophobia = fear of falling cats...

Dear God,
Please never let it literally rain cats (and/or dogs for that matter...) Please don't punish us that way....
